CONFIRMING .\MENDED ASSESSMENT

RESOI.'V'BD, by the City Council of the City of Palo Alto that
WHEREAS, said ,City Council did on the 14th day of August,
1950, order the City Engineer to make and file with said Council
an amended assessment of the parcel of property the former
asseaament upon wh1ch under Resolution or Intention No. 1833 of
said Council ls designated upon the original assessment and
diagram and confirmed by oaid Council on April 12, 1949, and
recorded in the office of the Superintendent of Streets of said
City, as diagram and assessment number 650;
WHEREAS, said City Engineer did on the 15th day of August,
1950, pursuant to said order, file with the Clerk of said City a diagram and amended asseasment;
WHEREAS, said Council fixed Monday, the 28th day or August,
1950, as the time for hearing said amended aseessments and cauaed
notice of said hear1ng to be published twice .in the Palo Alto T:tmes
as appears from the affidavit of publication on file in the office
of the Clerk of said City; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said hearing, no
protests or ob.1ections were made or presented to the proposed
amended assesoment, and all matters and things pertaining to said
('.(mended assessment were fully heard and considered by said City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORD!.RED that said amended assessment
filed with the Clerk of said City pursuant to Resolution ordering
same, be and the same is hereby ratified, approved and confirmed.
IT IS FlffiTHER ORDERED, that the Clerk of said City shall
deliver sa:td amended assessment to the City Engineer, together
with a certified copy tif this resolution thereto attached, and
said City Engineer shall thereupon reco:::•d such amended assessments
with a certificate at the end thereof by the Clerk of said City
that it 1s the amended assessment approved by the City CoUlcil.
The City Engineer shall note opposite the several assess-
ments in said original diagram and assessment number 650 that they
have been displaced by said amended assessment, giving the dateJ
and sha.11 credit u.pon such amended assessment all payments thereto-
fore mnde upon the original assessment. When said amended assessments
have been recorded, the City Engineer shall cause the original
asseasments involved to be canceled.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly adopted by the C2:y Council of the City of Palo Alto at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 28th day of August, 1950, by the following vote:
AYES: Blois, Bolander, Bowden, Bower, Cashel, Cathcart,
Freedman, GasparJ Hill, Mitchell, Montrou11, 'Wickett.
