CONFIRMING AMENDED ASSESSMBNT

lIBSOLVED, by thl' ~1ty Counc11 of the City of Palo Alto,,
Santa Clara County, California, that
WHEREAS, said City Council did on the 14th day of August,
1950, order the City Engineer to make and file with said
Council an amended assessment of the parcels of property the
former assessment upon which under Resolution or Intention No.
1516 cf said Council ~s designated upon the original assessment
~md diagram and confirmed by said Council or! January 13, 1947, and
recorded in the office of the Superintendent of Streets of said
C1 ty, atJ diagram and ass~ssment numbers 67, 68, 69, 70, 71, 72 and
73;
WHEREAS, aald City Engineer did on the 15th day of August,
1950, pursuant to said order, file with the Clerk of aaid City a
diagram and amended aaaeasment;
WHEREAS, said Council fixed Monday, the 28th day of August,
1950, as the time for hearing on said amended assessment and caused
notice of said hearing to be published twice 1n the Palo Alto Times,
as appears from the affidavit of publication on file in the office
of the Clerk of said City; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said hearing, no
protests or objections were made or presented to the proposed
amended assessment, and all matters and things pertaining to said
am~nded assessment werefully heard and considered by said City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that said amended asaesa-
ment filed with the Clerk of said City pursuant to resolution order~ng
same, be and the same ie hereby ratified, approved and confirmed.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the Clerk of sa.id C1ty shall
dellver said amended assessment to the City Engineer, together
with a c~rtified copy of this resolution thereto attached, and
said City Engineer ahall thereupon record auch amended assessment
with a certificate at the end thereof by the Clerk of said City
that it 1.s the amended assessment approved by the City Council.
The City Engineer shall noteopposlte the assessment 1n said
original diagram and assessment numbers 67, 68, 69, 10, 71, 72 and
13 that they have been displaced by said amended assessment, giving
the date, and shall credit upon such amen<ied assessment all payments
theretofore made upon the original assessment. When said amended
assessment has been recorded, the City Engineer shall cause the
original assessment involved to be canceled.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly adopted by the City Council or the City or Palo Alto
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 28th day of August, 1950,
by the following vote:
AYES: Blois,, Bolander, Bowden, Bower, Cashel, Cathcart,
Freedman, Ga.spar, Hill, Mitchell, Montrou11, Wickett.
NOES: None.
