CONFIRMING AMENDED ASSESSMENT

RESOLVED, by the City Councll of the City of Palo Alto,
Santa Clara Co1mty, Cal.lfornia, thit
WHEREAS, said Clty Counc:l.l d:i.d on the 14th day of A:;.gust,
1950, order the City Engineer to make and file wlth sald
Council an amended assessment of the parcel of property the former
assessment upon wh1ch under Resolution of' Intention No. 1516 of
sald Council ls designated uponthe orlg1nal assessment and
d.:agram and confirmed by said Counc:ll on .January 13, 1947, and
recorded in the office of the Superintendent of Streets of sald
City, as diagram and assessment number 806-A;
WHEREAS, sald City Engineer did ~n the 15th day of August,
1950, pur~rnant to said order, flle w.:.th the Clerk of said City
a d.i..agram and amended assessment;
WHEREAS, sald Counc:il fixed Monday, the 28th day of August ..
as the time for hearing on sa~ .. d amended assessment and caused
notlce of snid hearing to be publlehed twice in the Palo Alto
'r J.mcs, as appears from the affidavit of publication on fl le in
the office of the Clerk of said Clty; and
WHEREAS, at. the t.~me and place fixed for said hear:ng, no
protests or objections were made or ~resented to the proposed
•amended assessment, and aJ.l matters a'.")d things pertaining to said
amended assessment were fully heard and consldered by said City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that sald amended assessment
f .i..led w::.th the Clerk of said City pursuant to resolution ordering
same, be and the same ln hereby ratified, approved and confirmed.
IT IS li'URTHER ORDERED, that the Clerk of said City shall
deliver said amended assessment to the City Engineer, together
with a certified copy or this resolution thereto attached, and
said City Eng1t:ieer shall thereu.pon record such amended assessment
with a cert~ficnte at the end thereof by the Clerk of said City
that it ls the amended assessment approved by the City Co~ncll.
The City Engineer shall note opposite the assessment in said
or lglnal diagram and assessment n1lmber 806 -A that it has been
displaced by sa1d amended assessment, g.1.vlng the date, and shall
credit upon such amended assessment all payments theretofore made
upon the orlglnal assessment. When said amended assessment has
been recorded, the City Engineer shall cause the original assess-ment involved canceled.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly adopted by the City Councll of the City of Palo Alto
at a regular meeting thereof held on the 28th day of August,
1950, by the following vote:
