ESTABLISHING PREVAILING WAGE SCALB
PROJECT 50-1
STREET LIGHTING RECONSTRUCTION
DISTRICT ONE
RESOLVED, by the Counc11 of the City or Palo Alto,
California, that
WHEREAS, the City Engineer or said City has ascertained
the general prevailing rate of per diem wages in the locality
lr1 which said public work is proposed to be performed for work
of a similar character to that described in Resolution of Inten-
tion No. 1990 adopted June 12th, 1950;
WHEREAS~ ea1d rate of per diem wages is set forth and con-
tained in the apec1f1cat1one for said project, copies of which
are on file in the o1'f1ee or said C1 ty Engineer and also in the
office of the City Clerk of said City; and
WHEREAS, this Council has duly considered said scale and
find the same to be correct in all particulars;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY FOUND, DETERMINED and ORDERED,
as follows:
1. That saj.d wage scale as set forth 1n the s~ec1f1cat1ona
is hereby adopted as the prevailing rate of per diem wages £or
work of a similar character to that above described in the local-
1 ty in which such public work is proposed to be performed.
2. That not less than said general prevailing rate of per
diem wages shall be paid for any work proposed to be performed
under said Resolution of Intention.

I hereby certify the foregoing to be a true copy or
resolution adopted by the Ci'ty Council of the City of Palo Alto,
California, at a regular meeting thereof held on the 14th day of
August, 1950, by the following vote of the members thereof:
AYES, and in favor thereof, Councilmen:
Blois 1 Bolander, Bowden, Bower, Cashel, Cathcart, i'reedman,
Gaspar, Mitchell, Montreuil, Morten, Wickett.
NOES, Councilmen: None.
ABSENT 1 Councilmen: Bentrott, Hill, Linder.
