Palo Alto, be and it ls hereby designated as the time and place when any person owning property within such territory so p~oposed to be annexed may ~ppear before the City Council and show cause why said territory should not be annexed to the City of Palo Alto, and who may also file written protests against said annexation; sald property is described as follows: BEGINNING at a point on the center line of Loma Verde Avenue (formerly known as College Avenue), distant thereon S. 50° 30 1 W 477.08 feet from an 1ron pipe at the center line of inte~·section 01' said Loma Verde Avenue (formerly known as College Avenue), with the center line of Cowper Street as sa1d center line of intersection ls delineated and so designated on that certain rnap entltled "Record of Survey of Lots 29 and 30 of the C. M. Wooster Company's Subdivision of the Clark Ranch", 1'11ed f.".nrch 15, 1945, ln the office of the County Recorder or Santa Clara County, California, in Book 6 of Maps, page 49; running thence from eald point of beginning S. 52° E. 136 feet; thence ~t right angleo S. 38° W. 20 feetj thence at right angles S. 52° E. 798.0l feet to the most southerly corner of Lot 30 of the C.M.Wooster Company's Subdivision according' to that certain map entitled "Record of Survey of Lots 29 and 30 oi' the C.M.Wooster Company's Subdivision of the Clark Ranch11 , f.~.led ?-".arch 15, 1945, 1n the office of the County Recorder of Santa Clara County, Calif- orn1a, 1n Book 6 of Map~;, page 49; then0e along the southeasterly line of said Lot 30 N. 38 E. 465.79 feet to the most easterly corner of said Lot 30, being in the center line of the said Cowper Street; running thence along said center line or Cowper Street, being the northeasterly line of said Lot 30, N. 520 W. 389.05 feet to the most northerly corner or said Lot 30; thence leavlnc; said center line of Cowper Street and runn~ng along the northwesterly 11n~ of said Lot 30, 3. 38 W. 282.23 feet; thence at right ~ngles to said northwest- erly line cf said :Wt 30 N. 52[. Clara. BE IT l''URTHER RF.SO!NED that the City Clerk be and she is hereby directed to P.Ubl1ah a copy of th1a reaolut1on once a week for two successive weeks prlor to the 12th day of June, 1950, in the Daily Palo Alto Times, a newspaper of general circulation published 1n the City of Palo Alto. 'l'he above and foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and passed by the Council of ·che C~L ty of Palo Al to at n r·egular meeting held on the 8th day of May, 1950, by the following vote: Bentrott, Blois, Bolander, Bowden, Bower, Cashel, Cathcart, AYES: l''reedman, Gaspar, Hill, Linder, Mitchell, Montrou11, Morten, Wickett.
