CONFIRMING AME'«DED ASSESSMENT
OREGON AVENUE ET AL
PROJECT NO. 48-1
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Palo Alto
WHEREAS, said City Counc11 did on the 10th day of April,
1950, order the City Engineer to make and file with said Council
an amended assessment of all pa.reels of property the former
assessments upon which under Reeol1.2t1on of Intention No. 1833
of said Council are designated upon the original assessment and
diagram ;:md confirmed by said Council on April 12, 1949, and
recorded 1n the office of the Superintendent of Streets of said
City, as dlagram and assessment number 287;
WHEREAS, said City Engineer did on the 11th day of April,
1950, pursuant to said order, file with the Clerk of said City a
dlagram and amended assessment;
WHEREAS, said Council f:1.xed Monday, the 8th day of May,
1950, J.s the time for hearing eaid amended assessments and caused
notice of said hearing to be published twice in the Palo Al'llo
'l'imes, as appears fr.om the affidav1 t of publication on file 1n the
office of the Cl~~k or said City; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said hear:tng, no
protests or objections were made or presented to the proposed
amended assessme~t, and all matters and things pe~ta1n1ng t0 said
amended assessment were fully heard and considered by said City
Council;
NOW~ THEREFOREJ IT IS ORDERED that said amended assessment
filed with the Clerk of said City pursuant to Resolution ordering
same, be, and the same is hereby ratified, approved and confirmed.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the Clerk of said City Ghall
deliver said amended assessment to the Cj. ty Engineer, together
with a certified copy of this resolution thereto attached, and sald
Cl ty Engineer shall thereupon l"ecord such amended assessments w:l.. th
a certificate at the end thereof by the Clerk of said City that it
is the amended assessment approved by the C1ty Council.
The Cj. ty Engineer shall note oppo~;i te the several assessment:::
in said or:!.ginal dia.i;ram and assessment number 287 that they have
been displaced by said amended asses£ment, g1v1n3 its date, and
shall credit upon such o.mended asseasment all payments theretofore
made upon the original assessment. When said amended assessments
hnve been recorded, the City Engineer shall cause the original
assessments involved to be cancelled.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolt.;.tion was duly and
regularly adopted by the City Council of the Cit¥ of Palo Alto,
Cal1.forn1a, at a regular meeting thereof on the 8th <Jay of May,
19:50, by the following vote:
