RESOLUTION TO CLOSE PORTIONS OF THB IN'l'BltSBCTIONS OF
FERNANDO AVENUE, MARGARITA AV'BN'Cm, MATADERO AVENUE
AND WILTON AVENUE WITH EL CAMI?fO REAL IN THE CITY OF
PALO 4LTO

WHEREAS, the Council of the City or Palo Alto did on the
13th day or March, 1950, pass 1ta Resolution of Intention No. 1966
to order the following work and improvements to be done in said
city, to wit:
1. That that portion or the northerly intersection or
Fernando Avenue and El Camino Real, 1n the City of
Palo Alto> more particularly described below, be
closed and abandoned.
2. That that portion of the easterly intersection of
Fernando Avenue and El Camino Real, in the City of
Palo Alto, more particularly descr:bed below, be
closed and abandoned.
3. That that portion of the northerly 1ntereect1on of
Margarita Avenue and El Camino Real, 1n the City of
Palo Alto, more particularly described below, be
closed and abandoned.
4. That that portion of the easterly intersection or
Nargarita Avenue and El Camino Real, in the city of
Palo Alto, more particularly described below, be
closed and abandoned.
5. That that port!on of the northerly intersection of
Matadero Avenue and El Camino Real, 1n the C:l.ty of
Palo Alto, more particularly described below, be
closed and abandoned.
6. That that portion of the easterly :l.ntersection of
Matader·o Avenue and El Camino Real, in the City of
Palo Alto, more particularly described below, be
closed and abandoned.
7. That that portion of the northerly intersection of
Wilton Avenue and El Camino Real,, 1n the City of.' Palo
Alto, more particularly described below, be closed
and abandoned.
8. 1'hat that pcirtion of the easterly intersection of
Wilton Avenue and El Camino Real, in the City or
Palo Alto, more particularly described below, be
closed and abandoned.
WHEREAS, the Superintendent of Streets did thereupon cause
notice of the passage of said Resolution of Intention to be posted
in the form and manner requlred by law; and
WHERE.AS, the City Clerk caused a similar notice to be pub-
lished twice tn the Palo Alto Times, a daily newspaper published
and circulated in the City of Palo Alto, which newspaper was des-
descr:tbed in said Resolution Jf Inte11tion No. 1966 by the Council
as the official newspaper ln which said notice should be published;

WEEREAS, no objections have been filed against sa1d pro-
posed work and improvement and more than ten (10) days have elapsed
after the expiration cf the publication or said notice of the
passage or sa1d Resolution or Intention, and the City Council has
acquire1 Ju.rj.sd1ct1on to order said work and improvement as pro-posed;
j NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto DO RESOLVE as follows:
That the portions of the intersections of Fernando Avenue,
Marga.rltn Avenue, Matadera Avenue and Wilton Avenue with El Camino
Real in the City or Palo Al to, here1naf'ter described~ be and the
same are hereby closed and vacated. Said intersections are par-
t1culbrly described as follows:

Parcel 1. That portion of the northerly inter-
section or F'ernando Avenue and El Camino Real,
1n the City C•f Palo Al to, more particularly described as
that parcel of real property -
CO~n1ENCING at the point of intersection or the line
dividing Lots 21 and 22 :in Block 6 and the Southwesterly
11r.e or Lot 21 as said lines, lots and block are shown
upon "Map of Subdivision No. 2 of the Bartley Tract",
recorded at page 55 1n Book "N" or Maps, Records of Santa

30 feet r~dius curving to the left for an arc distance or
47.07 feet to a point upon the Southeasterly line of said
