CONFIRMING AMENDED ASSESSMENT

RESOLVED, by the City Counc:;.l of the Cj_ty of Palo Alto,
Santa Clara County, California, that
WHERE:AS, said City Council did on the 24th day of
F'ebruary, 1950, order the City Engineer to make and file
with said Council an amended assessment of all parcels of
property the former assessment upon which under Resolution
or Intention No. 1516 of said Council 1..s designated upon the
original assessment and diagr~m and confirmed by said
Council on January 13, 1947, and recorded ~.n the office of
the Superintendent ot' Streets of aaid City, as d!agram and
assessment No. 917.
WHEREAS, said City Engineer did on the lst day of March,
1950, pursuant to said order, file with the Clerk of said
City a diagram and amended assessment;
WHEHEAS, said Council fixed Monday, ~he 13th day of
March, 1950, as the time for hearing said amended assessment nnd caused notice of said hearing to be published twice in
the Palo Alto Times, as appears from the affidavit of
publication on file in the office of the Clerk of said City; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said hearing,
no protests or object1ons were made or preaent~d to the
proposed amended assessment, and all matters and things
pertaining to said amended assessment were fully heard and
considered by said c1·i;y Council;
NOW, THEREFOR.E, l'l' IS ORDERED that sald amended assessment
filed with the Clerk of said ci.ty pursuant to resolution
order1ne same, be and the same is hereby ratified, approved
and C•::>nfirmed.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that the Clerk of said City shall
deliver said amended assessment to the Ci.ty Engineer, together
with a certified copy of this resolution thereto attached,
ancl said City Engineer shall thereupon record such amended
assessment with a certificate at the end thereof by the Clerk
of' said City that 1 t is the amf'mded assessmer..t approved by the City Council.
The City Engineer shall note opposite the assessment in
said original d1ag1•am and assessment number 917 that 1 t has
been displaced by aa1d amended assessment, giving its date, and
ehs.11 cred1 t upon such amended asaessment all payments there-
tofore made upon the original asseasment. When said amended
ass"ssment has been recorded, the City Engineer shall cause
the original assessments involved canceled.
