CONFIRMING AMENDED ASSESSMENT
MELVILLE AVENUE ET AL

RESOLVED, by the C1ty Council of the City Of Palo Alto,
Santa Clara County, Californ1a, that
WHEREAS, said City Council did on the 13th day of
February, 1950, order the City Engineer to make and file with
said Council an amended assessment or all parcels of property
the former assessment upon which under Resolution or Intention
No. 1511 or said Council 1s designated upon the original
assessment and diagram and confirmed by said Counc11 on
January 13, 1947, and recorded in the office or the Superinten-
dent of Streets of eaid City, as diagram and assessment
number 27;
WHEREAS, satd City Engineer did on the 1st day of March,
1950, pursuant to aa1d order, .file with the Clerl<" of said
City a d:tagram and amended assessment;
WHEREAS, sa1d Council fixed MondRy, the 13th day of
March, 1950, as the time for hearing aa1d amended assessment
and caused notice of' said hearing to be published twice in
the Palo Alto Times, as appears from the a.f'fidav1t or publica-
tion on f'ile in the office of the ~lerk of said City; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed ror said hearing,
no protests or objections were made or presented to the propos"."!d
amended assessment, and all matters and things pertaining to
said amended assessment were fully heard and considered by said
City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE., IT IS ORDERED that said amended n.5sessment
filed with the Clerk of said City pursuant to Resolution
ordering same, be, and the same 1a hereby, ratified., approved
and confirmed.
IT IS FURTHER ORDEREP, that the Clerk of said C1ty
shall del1.ver said amended assessment to the City Engineer,
together with a certified copy of th1a Resolution thereto
attached, and sa1d City Engineer shall thereupon record such
amended assessment with a cert!f1cate at the end thereof by
the Clerk of said C1 ty th.at it is the amended airneasment approved
by the City Council.
The City Engineer shall note opposite the assessment in
said original diagram and assessment number 27 that it has been
displaced by said amended assessment, giving its date, and shall
credit upon such amended assessment all payments theretofore
made upon the original assessment. When said amended assessment
has been recorded, the City Engineer shall cause the original
asses.sments involved canceled.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regularly adopted by the City Council of the City of Palo Alto,
California, at li regular meeting thereof held on the 13th day of
March, 1950, by the following vote:
