DIRECTING MAKING OP AMENDED ASSESSMENT
RE CERTAIN ASSESSMJ~NTS
MELVILLE AVENUE ET AL
PROJECT NO. 46-2
RESOLVED, by the City Council or the City of' Palo Alt•.), Santa Clara County, California, that
WHEREAS, an assessment and diagram was made and f11ed
w1.th the Clerk of said City all pursuant to Resolution of Inten-
tion No. 1511 adopted by the City Council on June lO, 1946, and
the prov1s1.omof Article V of the Palo Alto Improvement Procedure
Code, being Ordinance No. 844 or said City, adopted January 13,
1941, and said assessment was cQnf1rmed by sa1d Council on March
10, 1947, and recorded in the office of the Superintendent or
Streets of said City on March 11, 1947; and
WHEREAS, a certain lot or parcel of land upon which there
1s an unpaid. assessment against which bonds have been issued
under the p1•ov1s1ons of Part 4 of Article IV of aaid Procedure
Code,has been divided so that it nq longer conforms to the
original parcel boundar1ea as shown on said assessment and 1n
the Aud:l.tor' s record thereof;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that
1. The City Engineer shall cause to be prepared and filed
with the City Clerk a report and amended assessment and diagram
of the lot and parcel so divided, said parcel being designated as Assessment No. 27.
2. Tlwt the unpR1d installments of s~id original assess-
ment shall be segregated and apportioned in accordance with the ben~f1ts to the several parts o~ the original lot or parcel an~
the total amount of the assessments of the several portions or
the original lot or parcel shall be equal to the unpaid
333essments upon said original lot or parcel of land.
I hereby certify thac the foregoing resolution was duly
and regularly adopted by the C~ty Council of the City of Palo
Altc, California, at a regular meeting thereof held on the
13th day or February, 1950, by the following vote:
AYES, and in favor thereof, Councilmen:
Blois, Boland~r, Bowden, Bower, Cashel, Cathcart, Freedman,
Gaopar, Hill, Linder, Mitchell, Montreuil, Morten.
NOES; Councilmen: None.
ABSENT, Councilmen: Bentrott, Wickett.
