ORDERING MODIFICATION OF PROCEEDINGS
CALIFORNIA AVENUE DISTRICT
ACQUISITION AND IMPROVEMENTS
PROJECT NO. 48-9
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Palo Alto, Californi<?.,
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 1933 of this Council
ordering same, notice has been duly given of the intention of this
Council to change and modify the proceedings under Resc:.lution of
Intention No. l'T21 of thia Counc:l.l in the time and form provided.
by law. and this is the time and place set for hearing thereof; and
WHEREAS, no persons interented appearing or filed
written pretests against said proceedings or a part thereof, and
all perso:r..s interested desiring to be he:9.rd were given an oppor-
tun1 ty to be her..trd and all matters and things pertaining to said
changes and mod1f1cat1ons were fully heard and considered by this C(.'luncil
NOW, 'fHEREi<'ORE, I'.r IS ORDERED as follows:
1. The following changes and modifications in the proceedings
under Resolution of Intention No. 1721 shall be made and had, as more particularly described as follows:
Consolidation with the acquisitions already ordered herein
the following work and improvements in the alleys proposed to be
~cquired in these proceedings in and for snid City, to-wit:
'.rhe improving of unnamed pedestrian lanes proposed
to be acquired within the block~ bounded by Cambridge
Avenue, California Avenue, Second Stre~t and El Camino Real
nnd California Avenue, Sherman A·1enue, Third Street
and El Camino Real, all as more particularly described
in maps ~nd diagrams on file in these proceedings, by
grading, removal of existing structures, and constructing
cruahed rock base pavement with Portland cement concrete
wearing surface between property lines.
2. Reference for further particulars is hereby made to
amended plans, amended est1r.u1te ot costs and amended assessment
filed in the office of th~ City Clerk Of said City.
3. S.:iid cho.nges and mod1f'icauonc shall be made by the City
Engineer upon the face of the plans on file with the City Clerk or
by filing amended copies thereof or amendments thereto.

California, at a regular meeting thereof held on the 13th day of
February, 1950, by the following vote of the members thereof:
