. RESOLVED, by the Clty Council of' the City of Palo Alto,
Ca.lifor•nia, thnt
WHEREAS> pursuant to Resolution of Intention No. 1926 adopted
by this Council on the 12th day of December, 1949, this Council
did on the 9th day of January, 1950, adopt its resolution No. 1930
ordering acquisition o~ easements, and on the 9th day of January,
1950, ndopted its Resolution No. 1931 directing the filing of
eminent domain proceedings;
WHEREAS> said Resolution of Intention and said proce~d1ngs
were had and taken pursuant to Article III of Ordinance No. 8~4
of 8a1d City commonly designated the Palo Alto Improvement
Procedure Code, adopted January 13, 1941;
NOW, THEHEl"ORE, IT IS FOUND, DE'.rERMINED AND ORD:r~RED as follows:
l. That the public interest and necessity require the
taking of immediate possession in connection with the eminent
doMain proceed1ngs.
2. That the City Atto1•ney and the law firm of Messrs.
Kirkbride: Wilson, Harzfeld & Wallace, employed for the purpose of
conducting the eminent domain proceedings are directed to under-~ tak~ the necessary action to obtain :tmmediate possession therein;
3. That said easements so sought to be taken for the purpose
of streets are all more particularly described in said Resolution
of Intention on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City
to which reference is hereby made for a particular description
thereof'.
