RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Palo Alto,
California, that
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution of Intention tic. '?3c
adopted by this Council on August ;, 1;48, and Resolution 1 1rE
of Intention to modify, adopted by this Council on Oc.cober
1945, this Council did on the 13th day of December, 1 43,
adopt its Resolution No. 1301 ordering acquisltic.:. of easements;
WHEREAS, said Resolution; of Intention, as modl."led, and

ii OW, THEREFORE, IT IS FOUND, D:.T ERMII4ED AND ORDERED, as
That the public interezt end necessity require the
acquisition of easements by said City all as more particularly
descr'.hed In said R:asolutlon of Intention, as modified, and in
said proceedings;
2. That the public necessity requires the acquisition
of easements, that said proposed acquisitions, as modified, are
planned and located in the manner which wo,.,1d be most compatible
with the greatest public good and the least private injury, that
all of said acyuis.ltions are located within territorial limits of
the City of ?alc Alto;
3. That the City Attorney and the law firm o' Messrs.
K1rkbride, Nilson, Sutton, Harzfeld ;i Wallace, employed for that
purpose, be, and they are hereby, directed to institute and con-
duct to conclusion an action in eminent domain fs tb.e acquisition
of said easements and the acquisition or relocation of said im-
provements thereon and take such action as is necessary therein,
including the taking of immediate possession thereof.
4. That said easements so sought to be taken for the
purpose of public streets are cll more particularly described in
said Resolution of Intention, as motlfied, on file in the office
of the City Clerk of said City, to which reference is hereby made
for a particular description thereof.

passed by the City Council of the City of Palo Alto, California,
at a regular meeting Hereof held on the 13th day of December,
