CONFIRMING REASSESSMENT UNDER RESOLUTION OF
INTENTION NO. 1506.

PROJECT NO. 46-1
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City cf 'alo Alto,
California, that
WHEREAS, said Council did on the 8th day of November, 1948,
adopt its Resolution No. 1783 ordering Fabian 5. Miller, Super-
intendent of Streets, to make and file with said Council a re-
assessment of all parcels of property formerly assessed under
Resolution of Intention No. 1506 of said Council and designated
upon the original Assessment and Diagram and confirmed by said
Council en June 23, 1948, and recorded On July 9, 1943. in the
office of the Superintendent of Streets of said City;
WHEREAS, said Superintendent of Streets did on the 9th
day of November, 1949, pursuant to snid Resolution No. 1783,
file with the City Clerk of said City a Diagram and Reassessment;
WHEREAS, said Council fixed Monday, the 29th day of
November, 1943, as the time for hearing said reassessment and'
caused notice of said hearing to be published twice Ir. the Palo
Alto Ties, an appears from the affidavit of publication on file
in the office of the City Cleric of said City; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said hearing,
no protests cr objections were made or presented to the
proposed reassessment, and all matters and things pertaining to
said reassessment were duly heard and considered by said Cou.icil;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, as follows:
1. That any'and all protests against the making el' said
reassessment or the extent of the district therein or as to the
amounts cf the several assessments in said reassessment, are
hereby overruled and denied.
2. That said reassessment filed with the City Clerk of
said City pursuant to Resolution N. 1733 be, and the same is
hereby, ratified, approved and confirmed.
3. That the City Clerk of said City shall deliver maid
reassessment to the Superintendent cf Streets together with a
certified copy of this resolutions thereto&ttached, and said
Superintendent of Streets shall thereupon record such reassess-
ment with a certificate at the end thereof by the City Clerk
of said City that it is the reassessment approved by the City
Council on this date.
4. That the Superintendent of Streets shall note opposite
the several assessments in said original Diagram and Assessment
that they have been displaced by said reassessment, giving its
date, and shall. credit upon such reassessment all payments
theretofore made upon the original assessment.
5. That the inclusion of interest in the reassessment, if
required by law, has been and is hereby waived, provided that
the bonds to be issued herein shall be dated and bear interest
at the rate of 3-3/4% per annum from September 13, 191.8, as
provided in Resolution No. 1765 Providing for the Issuance of

Bonds, an' Resolution No. 1766 Awarding Sale of Bonds.
I hereby certify the foregoing to be a true copy of resolu-
tion adopted by the City Council of the City of Palo Alto,
Califcr,aia, .at a regular meeting thereof held on the 13th day
of December, 1943, by the following vote:
AYES, and in favor thereof, Councilmen:
:Bentrott, Blois, Bclander, Cashel, Hill, Linder, Merner,
;Kitchell, Montroull, Morten, Thoits, Wickert.
NOES, Councilmen: None.
ABSENT, Councilmen: Bowden, Freedman, Gaspar.
