RES OLUT I ON NO. 1792
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF SECURITIES
The Council o: the City of Palo Jlto DO RESOLVE as follows:
That W. C. Cobb, Treasurer of the City of Palo Alto, be
and he is hereby authorized to purchase 1}% U. S. Treasury Notes
maturing October 1, 1949, in the amount of $250,000.00.
The above and foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and passed at an adjourned regular meeting of the Council
of the City of Palo Alto held on Monday, the 29th day of November,
194$, by the following vote:
A YES :
Bolander, Cashel, Freedman, Gaspar, Merner, Mitchell,
M:ntrouil, Morten, Thoits, Wickett.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Bentrott, Blois, Bowden, Hill, Linder.
