RESOLUTION NO. 1789
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING BOARD OF WORSE TO CALL
FOR BIDS ON PURCHASE OF CABLE AND REACTORS FOR
ELECTRIC DEPARTMENT
The Council of the City of Palo Alto DO RESOLVE as follows:
1. That the Board of Public Works be and it is hereby
directed to call for bids for the purchase of 30,000 feet of
single conductor electrical cable in accordance with specifica-
tions set up by the Engineering Department, said cable to be
purchased out of funds realized from the sale of City of Palo
Alto Municipal Improvement Bonds of 1948.
2. That the Board of Works be and it is hereby authorized
to call for bids on twenty-four (24) reactors for use in the
electric distribution system of the City, said reactors to be
purchased out of funds realized from the sale of City of Palo f1to
Municipal Improvement Bonds of 1948.
The above mentioned bids shall be received by the
Board of Works at a special meeting at 3:00 p.m., November 29,
1948, and referred to the City Council at its adjourned regular
meeting at 7:30 p.m., November 29, 1948.
The above and foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and passed by the Council of the City of Palo Alto on
the 8th day of November, 1948, by the following vote:
AYES: Blois, Bowden, Cashel, Freedman, Gaspar, Hill, Linder,
Merner, Montrouil, Morten, Thoits. Wickett.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Bent t° , Bolmulee,
