DIRECTING BAKING OF REASSESSMENT UNDER
RESOLGCION OF INTENTION NO. 1506
PARK BOULEVARD, ET AL.
PROJECT N0. 46-1
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Palo Alto,
California, that
WHEREAS, an assessment and diagram was made and filed
with the City Clerk of said City, pursuant to Resolution of Inten-
tion No. 1506 adopted by the Council of said City on June 10, 1.946,
and to the provisions of Article V of Ordinance No. 844 of said City,
adopted January 13, 1941, and said assessment was confirmed by said
Council on June 23, 1948, and recorded on July 9, 1948 in the office
of the Superintendent of Street° of said City; and
WHEREAS, said assessments were irregularly levied, and
may be enforceable through the curative provisions in relation
thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT I3 ORDERED that
1. Fabian 3. Miller, Superintendent of Streets of said
City, make and fi'.e with this Council a reassessment of all parcels
of property former..y assessed under said Resolution of Intention;
2. The reassessment shall assess upon and against each of
the lots, pieces or parcels of .and contained therein an amount
arrived at as follows: The benefits derived, or to be derived,
by each of said lots, pieces or parcels of land, from the work or
improvement, estimated as provided by law, shall first be listed.
The total of such reassessment, however, shall not exceed the cost
and expenses of the work and improvement. Said reassessment shall
refer to the original assessment filed, giving the date of filing
said original assessment and state that it is made pursuant to the
order of this Council, and shall be accompanied by a diagram show-
ing the lots to be reassessed and their relation to the work.
3. The City of Palo Alto will contribute $1870.03 in cash
to the costs of the project to provide for the relocation of exist-
ing Portland cement concrete catch basira, as provided in said plans
and specifications.
4. Peers Park and the Mayfield Fire Station and other
city -owned property fronting or. said improvements shall be assessed
for its share of the cost of said benefits and the amount thereof
paid in cash by the City. All public streets, alleys and ways in
use ir, the performance of the public function shall be omitted from
the assessment hereinafter to oe made to cover the cost of said
improvement;
5. The bonds having not been issued, the requirement
that said reassessment include interest is hereby waived.
6. Said reassessment, when completed, shall be presented
to this Council.

I hereby certify the foregoing to be a true copy of
resolution adopted by the City Council of the City of Palo Alto,
California, at a regular meeting thereof held on the 8th day of
November, 1948, by the following vote of the members thereof:
AYES, and in favor thereof, Councilmen:
Blois, Bowden, Cashel, Gaspar, Hill, Linder, Berner,
Montrouil, Morten, Thoita, Wickett.
NOES, Councilmen: None.
ABSENT, Councilmen: Bentrott, Bolander, Mitchell,
NOT VOTING, Councilmen: Freedman.
