RESOLUTION NO. 1780
AWARDING SALE OF BONDS
WARREN WAY, ET AL
PROJECT NO. 48-13
RESOLVED, by the Council of the :.ity of Palo Alto,
California, that
WHEREAS, said Council, in response to notice duly given
pursuant to Resolution of Intention No. 1734 adopted August 9, 1948,
and its resolution calling for bids on sale of bonds pursuant there-
to, adopted on October 11, 1948;
WHEREAS, this is the time and place fixed therein for re-
ceiving bide for the purchase of said bonds, and said bide have
been received and publicly opened, examined and declared by this
Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT I3 ORDERED, as follows:
1. That all written bids received for the purchaaa of
said bonds, excepting the alternate bid herein +stated, be, and
they are hereby, rejected, and that said Donde be, and they are
hereby, ordered sold to Hannaford & Talbot Mason Bros. C. N.
White & Co., as the highest responsible b er ere or, w
interest to the date of delivery of said bonds, said Bale to be
subject to all of the terms and conditions set forth in said re-
solution calling for sealed proposals and in said accepted
alternate bid.
2. That the City Clerk of said City we, and she le here-
by, directed to have said bonds printed forthwith, and that the
same be immediately signed and sealed and delivered to said bidder
on receipt of the amount therefor as above stated, with interest,
but not otherwise, and upon the performance of the conditions con-
tained in said written offer.
3. That the interest rate of said bonds be, and the same
is hereby, fixed at the rate stated in said bid.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing re-
solution wags duly and regularly adopted at a meeting of the City
Council of the City of Palo Alto, California, held on the 8th day
of November, 1948, by the following vote:
AYES, and in favor thereof, Councilmen: Blois, Bowden, Cashel,
Freedman, Gaspar, Hill, Linder, Merner, Montrouil,
Morten, Thoits, Wickett.
NOES, Councilmen: None.
ABSENT, Councilmen: Bentrott, Bolander, Mitchell.
