RESOLUTION NO. 1761
OF INTENTION TO CHANGE AND MODIFY PROCEEDINGS
PARE BOULEVARD, ET AL
PROJECT NO. 46-1B
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Palo Alto,
California, that it is the intention of said Council to cnange
and modify the proceedings under its Resolution of Intention
N'. 1506 adopted June 10, 1946, as follows:
1. Change and modify the work proposed to be done in
said Resolution of Intention, and change and modify the plans
to provide that Stanford Avenue, Oxford Avenue and College
Avenue, all between El Camino Real and Park Boulevard. Olive
Avenue between El Camino Real and Third Street, Staunton Court
between Oxford Avenue and College Avenue and Park Boulevard
between El Camino Real and California Avenue, be improved by
removing existing driveway aprons that are not at the official
street grades and installing new Portland cement concrete drive-
way aprons at the official street grades, together with work
incidental thereto,
2. Change and modify the assessment to provide that

527 and 417 of the assessment district be increased in the
amount to be assessed to defray the cost of removing and in
stalling said driveway aprons and work incidental thereto.
3. Change and modify the estimate of cost for said work
and improvements to not to exceed $271,326.48.
4. Change and modify the assessment by changing the
estimated cost of the work, the incidental expenses and the
total amount to be assessed, as above provided, and by changing
the individual assessments therein to conform to benefits;
5. That reference be, and it is hereby, made to amended
plans, amended estimate of cost and supplementary partial re-
assessments filed in the office of the City Clerk of said City,
to which reference is hereby made for further particulars.
6. That Monday, the llth day of October, 1948, at the
hour of 7:30 o'clock P.M. at the Council Chambers of the City
Council in the City Hall of said City are hereby fixed as the
time and place when and where any and all persons interested
may appear and show cause, if any they have, why the CJ.ty Council
should not change and modify the proceedings as herein proposed.
7. That a copy of this resolution be published twice
in the Palo Alto Times, the first publication being at least ten
days before the date set for hearing.

I hereby certify the foregoing to be a true copy of resolu-
tion adopted by the City Council of the City of Palo !lto, California,
at an adjourned regular meeting thereof held on the 27th day of
September, 1948, by the following vote of the members thereof:
AYES, and in favor thereof, Councilmen: Bentrott, Blois, Bowden,
Cashel, Gaspar, Linder, Merner, Mitchell, Montrouil,
Morten, Thoits, Wickett.
NOES, Councilmen: None.
ABSENT, Councilmen: Bolander.
NOT VOTING: Freedman, Hill.
