OF PRELIM/NARY APPROVAL
PROJECT NO. 48-16
WELLS AVE. ET AL
RESOLVED, by the Cour.!il of the City cf Palo Alto,
California, that the following be, and they are hereby pre-
liminarily approved and ordered filed in the office of the City
Clerk of said City, and to be referred to in the Resolution of
Intention, for the improvements on portions of Bryant Street,
Forest Avenue, Homer Avenue, Charming Avenue and extenair.n there-
of, Lincoln Avenue, Kingsley Avenue, L:;cao Lane, Urban Lane, Wells
Avenue, and unnamed easements for utility purposes running north-
weeterly from Charming Avenue exWnied where it intersects Lucas
Lane for about 280 feet, thence southwesterly about 380 feet to
the intersection of Urban Lane and Homer Avenue, in said City,
to -wit:
1. Plana and epecir.oationa for the construction of
improvements under said resolution of intention;
2. Engineer's estimate of the itemized tnd total estimated
costs and expenses for the construction of improvements necessary
therefor under said resolution of intention;
3. Map of the assessment dietrirc designated 'r:oject
No. 48-16 for Welle Ave. Et Al Improvements'; ,d
4. Assessment and diagram for the costs and expenses for
the construction of improvements necessary therefor under said
resolution of intention.

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of
resolution adopted by the City Council of the City of Palo Alto,
California, at a regular meeting held on the 13th day of
September, 1948, by the following vote of the members thereof:
AYES, Councilmen: Bentrott, Blois, Bolander, Bowden,
Gaspar, Linder, Montrouil, Morten, Thoits,
Wickett.
NOES, Councilmen: Cashel.
ABSENT, Councilmen: Freedman, Mitchell.
NOT VOTING: Horner.
