WliEREA3, the Council of tb.a City of Pnlo Alto did
on tho 13th day of April, 1942, paz a its Resolution or ID.tent1on
No. 1373 to order the tollov1ng work and improvement to be done
1n auld city, to wit:
l. That the follov1ng portion of the westerly
corner or tho intersection of Hamilton Avenue and
Ce.ntor Stroot in the City of Palo Alto, s.nd more
particularly deacrib~d as follows, to wit:
Beginning at a point on the northerly line of
Hamilton Avenue in Block 118, Crescent Park Subdi-
vision No. 1, Palo Alto, Santa Clara County,
California, dletant thereon 79,8 feet easterly from
the co~~on corner for Lots 1 and 2 of sa1d Block~
said point of beginning being also the point of
tangency o.f the curve form1ng the present boundary
l1l'1e of said Block; thenc.e northeasterly to the
left along the arc of a circle or radius of 108.6
feet for e di~tance of 163.46 feet to the northerly
line of the lands of Dr. Ward Cooper, said arc of

WHEREAS, no objections have been !1led e.gain~t said
proposed vork and improvement and more than ten {10) days have
elapsed after the expiration of the publication of sf.!.11 not1ct;>
of the ~assage or said ~esolut1on of Intention, and the City
Counc11 has acquired jurisdiction to order esid work and im-
provements as proposed;
NOW,THEREFORE, The Co~~cil of the City o! Palo Alto DO P£SOLVE as follows:

That the portion of Hamilton Aven1.1e and Center Street,
in the City of Palo Alto, hereinabove described, be and the
same is hereby closed and vacated.
