WH!RIAS, on the lOth d&J of June, 1929, the.Counoil ot
the City ot Palo .Alto paeeed 1ta Beeolut1on ot Intention No.
756, to Y1den Covper Stre•t botveen University Avenue and
Hamilton Avenue in the City ot Palo Alto; and,
WHEREAS, certain eteps were taken 1n the street v1den1ng
procedure up to and inc1Ud1ng the valuation or the property tor assessment purpoaes; &Dd,
WBERBAS, certain propertr ovnera e~ecutod deeds to the
parcels of land which were to be taken troa them to aocoapliah
said street widening, which deeda were to be bel4 until the
prooeedinga were completed;. and,
WHEREAS, said vide~g proceedings have been temporarily abandoned; and~
WRIRIAS, on the lat da7 ot Jul7, 1931, the deed rrom
Hattie L. Hobart and A. C. Hobart to the City ot Palo Alto,
oov•ring the seven foot strip or land on Cowper Street vas
erroneously recorded by the City Council; and,
VHIRIA5, it is the intention of the City Council to
correct their mistake by deeding back to Hattie L. Hobart

NOW, THBRXPOU, the Council of tbe CitJ or Palo Alto
DO RESOLVE as follows:
That the Mayor and City Clerk be and they are hereby
authorized to execute a Quit Clatm Deed, quitcla1aing all or
the city •a right, title &.ud interest 1n and to ~aid seven
root atrj,p of land on Covper Street between University Avenue
and Hamilton Avenue in the City or Palo Alto.
The abo·ve and foregoing resolution vas duly and regular4
ly introduced and passed by the City Council ot the City of
Palo Alto at a regular meet1ng of said Council held on the
13th day of April, 1942, by the following vote:
