CITY OF PALO ALTO APPROVING MEMORANDUM
OF AOF.EEMENT F'OR EXPE:f','DITURE OP' t CEN'l'
GAS TAX ALLOCATED FOR STATE RIGHJlAYS
WHERF.AS, the Sts:te 01' California, through 1 ts Depart-
ment of Publlc Works, Division of Highways, has preeanted a
memorandum or agreement in a.ecord.ance vith a project ete.tement.
submitted by the City for expend:tture or the 1/4 •:::tmt gal!! tax
for the 1941-43 biennium allocated tor State highways .in the
City of Palo Alto; and
WHEREAS, the city council hae heard read said agree-
ment 1n full and is familiar with the content~ thereof;
THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED, by the city oouncil of the
City of Palo Alto that aaid agreemsnt for expenditure of the
1/4 cent gas ta~ allocated ror State high~ays be and the same 1s
hereby approved and the Mayor and the City Clerk are directed
to sign the ~ame on behalf or said City.
