TO EXECUTE DEED ..
WHEREAS, M. A. Westall, :form•r Tax Collector of
the City of Palo Alto, erroneously deeded to the City or
Palo Alto the v1th1n described r~al property tor delinquency
in the year 1921, by the Tax Collector or the former tov.n or Mayfield; and
WHEREAS, said deed constitutes a cloud upon the
.title or the present owner or said real property, vhieh cloud
ehould be removed;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City or Palo Alto DO RESOLVE as follows:
That the Mayor and City Clerk be and they~e hereby
tnlthorized to execute a Quit Claim Deed to HARR.IET KN1GHTHA'R'l1 ,
to that certain parcel or l'eal property in the City ot Palo Alto
described as follows, to wit:
Lot 14, Bloek 14, Stanford City Tract,
as said lot and blook are shovn and delineated
on a map ot Stanfo~ City Tract~ on file in the
office of the County Recorder or Santa Clara
County in Book "M" of Mapa, at pagers 96 &nd 97.
The above and foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly introduced and passed by the City Council or the
C.i ty or Palo Alto at an adjourned regular meeting or said
Council held on the lOth day of December, 1941, by the
follov1ng vote:
