RESOLUTION OP THE CITY COUICIL OF THE Crf!
OF PALO ALTO ADOPTI:NG BUDGE'!' AND APPROVDG
SECOND SUPPLEMENTAL MEMORAlfDUM OP AORE!MlUfl'
FOR EXPENDITURE OF l/4CUT GAS TAX ALLOCATED FOR STREETS OF NAJQR IMPORTANCE.
WHEREAS, a second Gupplemental memorandum ot agreement
ha9 been presented to be entered into with the State or C&litornia
1n accordance with a project statement for o~pend1ture or the 1/4
cent gas ta~ tor the fiscal year 1942 allocated for etreets.or
major importance other than State highways 1n the City ot Palo Alto; and
WHEREAS, the city council has heard read said agree-
ment 1n full and is familiar v1th the contents thereof;
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the city council ot the
City or Palo Alto that said project atatement be and it is
hereby adopted as the budget or p~opoaed e~penditures or the
1/4 cent tas tax allocated tor streets of o: major importance othar
than State h1ghwaye 1 and said agreement be and the same 1a hereby
approved and the mayor and the city clerk are directed to sign the
same on behalf or eaid City, said agreement to be binding upon the
City upon ito e~ecution by the authorized officials of the State.
ADOPTED this lOth day of December, 1941.
