RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT

RESOLVED, by the City Council ot the City of Palo Alto, California, that
WHERFAS, the City Council ~r the City of Palo Alto
did, in open session, on the lOth day or October, 1941, publicly
open, e~amine and declare all sealed proposals or bids for the
vork to be done and improvements to be made aa described and
specified in Resolution or Intention No. 1341, of said Council,
adopted September 8, 1941,· to which resolution or intention
reference is hereby made for a descriPtion of said work and
lmprovements and/or the materials, supplies or equipment to be
furnished therefor.
NOW, THEREFORE 1 IT IS HEREBY ORDERED 1 as follow a:
1. That said City Council or the City of Palo Alto,
California, hereby rejects all or said proposals or bids e~cept
that hereinafter mentioned, and hereby avards the contract for
do1.ng sa.1t1 work and makino ss.1t1 improvem~nt to the lowest
responsible b1dder1 to-wit: Oakland Sever Construction
Company, e.t the price.e named in their bid;
2. That the Mayor or ;3aid City is hereby authorized
to makt~ o.nd enter into a written contract with said successful
bidder, and to receive and approve all bonds in cormection
therev1tll, and the Clerk of said City 15 hereby directed to
.attest his signature a.nd affi=< thereto the corporate seal of
said City.

resolution adopted by the City .Council of the City or Palo Alto,
California, at an adjourned regula~ meeting thereof held on the
lOth day of October, 191.!1, by the following vote of the members
