RESOLVID, by the City Council of the City ot Palo Alto, Ca11torn1a, that WHIREAS, said City Council did on the 26th day or March, 1941 adopt its Resolution or Intention No. 1322 to order certain imp~ovements to be ma~e 1n said city, under and pur- suant to Article V ot Ordinance No. 8--of said cit7, adopted January 13, 1941, entitl~ "Palo Alto Ill,proveunt Procedure COOe". and to issue bond!!! pUl'eu&nt to Part ~. That the public interest and convenience re~u1re1 and eaid City Council does hereby order the improvements to be made a~ described in and 1n accordance with aaid Resolution or Inten- tion No. 13?2, on tile 1n the oftica or the City Clerk or aatd City, reference to which 1a hereby ~de tor a more j)&rtieular description or aa1d improvements And &l•o tor further parti- culars pursuant to the provisions ot Article v or aaid Improvement Procedure Code. 4. That the map or the &seeaament d1atr1ct, entitled "Improvement Plana No. 41 .. 2 Asseaament D1atriot tor Improvement of High Street et al", aa preliminarily approved b7 the City Council on March 26, 1941, be and the same 1& hereby t'inally adopted and approved as the map ot the aaeesement district, &nd the boundary or said aaaeeament district as shovn thereon is hereb:J determined and establi8hed to be the boundary of the a.aaeesrae.nt district to pay for the coste and e:xpenaea or said 1n:tprovement. 5. That the assessment and diagram for the eoat and expenses or the street improvements described in s&1d Resolution of Intan- tion No. 1322, as prel1m1nar1ly approved by said C1t:y.Counc11 on March 26, 1941, be and the same is heroby ratified, approved and confirmed as the assessment ~~ diagram to pay the coats and expenses or said improvement. 6. What the City Clerk or said City shall deliver said diagram and assessment to the Superintendent or Str~~ts or said City# together with a certified copy or this resolution thereto attached~ and said Superintendent ot Streets shall tl1ereupon record such assessment and diagram in his office 1n a suitable book to be kept tor that purpose and append thereto his ce~t1- f1cs.te or the date ot t!}'UCh recording, and auoh record she.ll be the assessment roll to pay for the costs and expenses of said improvement. 7. Immediately upon euch recordation said Superintendent or Streets shall give notice thereof by tw~ publications 1n the Palo Alto Times, a newspaper printed and published 1n said City1 vhich notice shall set fort~'among other thinge1 that all sums assessed therein are due and payable at his office immediately, and that payment thereof 1a to be made to him within thirty ds.ye atter the date or recording said assessment, vh1eh date shall ~e stated 1n said not1oe1 and auch other matters as are required by Section 1 ot Article V or said Improvement Pro4e4UDe Code.
