RESOL'OTI ON OVDRtTLilfG PRO!'ESTS
No. 1330
RESOL\1m1 by the City Council of the City or Palo Alto, California, that
WHEREAS, said City Council did on the 26th day or March,
1941, pass its Resolution ot Intention No. 1322 to make the
public improvement therein more particularly described, and did
therein tix the time and place when and vbere said Council vould
hear any and all persona interested therein; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk and Superintendent ot Streets of
said city duly gave notice ot the time and place of said he&r1na~
in.the timet form and manner provided 'by lav; and
WHEREAS, this 1s the t!me and place fixed 1n said Resolution
When and ~1ere said Council will hear said protests and objec-tions; and
WHEREAS, vr1tten protests and objeot1ons against the
proposed i.mprovements, or against the diatric·t to be assessed fDr
the costs and expenses thereof, or to the City Engineer's
estimate of the cos to and eJtpenses the:l"'eor, or against the grades
at which said work sllall be done, or S.::J8.1nst the diagram or as8esa-
ment, have been filed with the City Cl,9rlc of said City at or
before th~ time sat for sa.!.d hea.r1ng b:;r persons interested or otbo
are own~rs or property which 1~ aubjecr~ to assessment in .said proceed1r..gl'l; -!ln.d
WHEREAS, :said C1 ty Council has dul:r heard and considered
each nnd all of said protests a.nd obje1:!tions and each and all
per!lons desiring to 'be heard 1n connec1~1on with aaid matter was
and were given an opportWlity to and d!ld present their said
protests and objections, and ea.1d. ma.ttc~rs were tull7 presented,
heard and considered by said Council; and
WHEREAS, it appears and said Council so t1nds that said
protests so tiled were not filed by t:tw O'Wllers of more than one-.
ht.lf or the area. of the property to be ,..l.aaessed for said il'!IProve-ment.
NOW 1 THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED AND ORDERED that sa.1d proteste
and objections be and they and each and all of them are hereby overruled and denied.
