REQU:ES'l'ING OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS A
RIGHT OF WAY IN MIJll)LEFrELD ROAD BETWEEN
MARION AVENUE AND COLORADO AVENUE.
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Palo Alto,
California, that the public interest and necessity require the
acqu1.s1t1on of a right or ve.y in Middlefield Road in the County
of Santa Clara bordering the e:~tterior boundary line of said city,
tor the purpose of laying, conDtrueting and maintaining storm
sever pipes, manholes and catch basins therein as a necesesry
and ind1spens1ble part or the general municipal storm severage
co1lect1on system for said city nov being undertaken by sa.id city
ne a municipal public improvement.
RESOLVED, FURTHER 1 that the Board or SuPervisors of the Count~
or Santa Clara be and they are hereby respectfully requested to
adopt 8n Ordinance granting to &&id City of Palo Alto for aaid
purpose, the following z•ight or vay in the :following street end
1•oad in said County of Sante. Clara for the p·u.rpose ot laying,
constructing and maintaining storm sever pipes, manholes and
catch be.s1na therein, together with the right to e"cavate and lay,
repair and replace the same therein, to-wit:
Middlefield Road between Marion Aven.ue
and Colorado Avenue, as shovn on the
map attached hereto and made a part
hereof by reference thereto.
