City Council on Juno 27, 1940, the report of the Commissioners 1n
the matter of t:ae w1den1ne, opening and closing o! streets in the
South Oregon Avenue Tract, Po.lo Alto, california, waa :t•e:t'erred
to the Superintendent o:t' Streets; and
VffiER}~S, sa1d Superintendent of Streets proceeded to make
an aseessment ru1d aseesament d1agram covering the compensation,
damage8, !ees ~~d incidental expenses 1n connection with tha ~aid proceedings; and ·
WHEREAS, se!d Superintendent or Streets did on the 19th day
of September, 1940, file w1th the City Clerk ~~e assessment w1tb
tne assessment d1asram attached thereto and made a Pkrt thereof; and
WHEf~S, Monda~, October 14, 1940, at the hour of 7s30"P.M.
1n the Council Chamb~rs of the City of Palo Alto, has been designated
as the time s.nd plaoe for a hearing on said assessment e.n.d asaesl'l-
ment diagram, at which time objectione to sa1d assess~ent and
assessment diagram would be heard by the City Council; and

with the widening, opening nnd closing of str~ets in the South
oregon Avenue 'rract, Pnlo Alto, California, be and the sa.mfl is lle reby
confirmed and approved a.e presented by said Superintendent of streets,
BE IT l·URTHER R&;SOLVED that the City Clerk "be a.nd eLe is
hereby directed to delivl'3r ~o the Super1ntent:ent of Streets the
aese!s~ent and assessment diagram as confirmed by the C1ty Council
for the purpose of recording sa.."'l.e in the office of the Superintendent
of Streets.
The above and foregoing resolut1oo was duly and regularly
pa:~sed by thfl Co'l.l.ncil of 'the City of Palo Alto at a regular meeting
hold on Monday, the 14th o.ay of October, 1940, by the following votes
