RESOLUTION Rr~TIVE TO THJ: PURCHASE 07 TAX DEEDED
PROPERTIES •
Th~ Council of the City or Palo Alto DO RISOLVE as follows:
\'IHJtREAS certain puo.ela of real property 1n the City ot.
Palo Alto have been deeded to the County of Santa Clara for non-.
payment of taxes, and in many instances deeded to the City ot Palo
Alto tor non-payment or ta.xea; and
WEEREAS it 11 the desire and intention of this Council
to take such ateps as are necessary to get said properties back
on the tax roll; and
WF.EREAS it is deemed advisable that the city purchase
the county's interest 1n said property and proceed to quiet the
title to the same and then put said property on the market tar
sale;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Palo Alto
DO RESOI~VE AS ;J"0L'L01.\'S:
That the Mayor and City Clerk be and they are hereby
authorized to execute on behalf of the City the necessary agree-
ments to purchase from the State of Calitornia certain tax deeded
real property located :\.n the City of Palo Alto, as set forth in
a list attached to th.ia reaolu'iiion. purchase prices for sa1<1
properties being set forth in the right hand column on said list; and
BE IT FURTIIER RESOLVED that the Auditor be and h& hereby
is authorized to make available a sum ot $3100.00 tram the Re-
volving ?und tor the purpose of completing the purchase or said
property.
The above and foregoing resolution was passed by the
