WHEREAS the Council of the City of Palo Alto did an the Sth day ot April, 1940, pass ita Re&Jlut1on ot In- tention No. 1275 to order the following work and impro~ement to be done, to-witt 1. That Marion Avenue, between Waverle7 Street ana :M1ddle1'1eld Road, be widened from 40 teet to 50 teet 'bJ the acquisition of 5 teet on eaCh side of said street. 2. That Colol"ado A.venue, betw()en Cowper Street and Middlefield Road, bo widened tram •o teet to 60 feet bJ the acquisition of 10 feet an each aide of aa1d street. 3. That Colorado Avenue, between Waverley Street and Cowper Street be re-located and kept at ita existing widtn ot 60 teet by the acquisition of 10 feet on the Nortbwe2t- erly aide of Colorado Avenue between Waverley ~treet and Cowper Street and by the closing and abandoning of 10 feet on the Soutbeaater.ly aide of Colorado Avenue between Waverley Street and Cowper Street. 4. TrAt Colorado Avenue, between Alma Str6et and Wavez·ley Street, be narrowed from 80 .teet to 60 teet by the closing and abandor11ng of 10 feet on each aide of aa1d street. 6. That Poppy Avenue, between Waverley Street and Cowper Street, be Widened from a 50 toot street to a 60 toot street, by the acquisition of 5 .teet 011 each aide of said etree~ 8.
