WHEREAS, the State of Cali:forn1a, through ita Department or Public W~rks, Division of Highways, haa presented a aecond
•upplemental memorandum of agreOJnent in accordance with_a project
statement aul:a1tted. by the Cj,ty for expenditure ot the t cent
gaa tax tor the 1939-41. biennium allocated tor State highways 1n
the Cit~ ot Palo Altos and.
WHEREAS, the c1ty council ~s heard read aa1d agreement 1n
tull and ia familiar with the contttnta thereof;
1~REFORE, be it resolved by the city council ot the Cit7
of Palo Alto that said agreement for ~xpendituro ot the t cent
gaa tax allocated tor State highways be and the aame ia hereby
approved and the Mayor and the City Clerk are directed to a1gn
the same on behalf ot aaia City.
