That the Mayor and City Cl~rk be and they are
hereby authorized to execute on behalf or the City that
oertain agre~ment dated the 13th day o! November, 1939, by and
between THE BOARD OF' TRUSTEES OF THE LELAND STANFORD JUNIOR
UNIVERSITY and the CITY OF PALO ALTO relative to the use ot a
portion of the land leaeed to aaid 01 ty i:~y the Un1versi ty for
the construction of an underpass under the Southern Pacific
railroad tracks at Univere1ty Avenue in tbe City ot Palo Alto •
The above and foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly introduced and passed at a regular meeting or tbe
Council of the City of Palo Alto held on Monday, the 13th day o! November, 1939, by the follo~ng vote1
