That the Board of Public Works of the City ot Palo
Alto be and it is hereby authorized to advertise for bide for
the oonetruetion or oerta1n additiona and alterations to the
Palo Alto Library, said b1da to be reoeh·ed, publicly opened
and examined by aaid board on the 5th day or June, 1939, at
the hour or 4 P.'M. in the City Hall in aaid city and ~ . .rane-
mitted to the City Council with the board•a recommendation,
sa1d work to be dCile in accordance With the plane and spec1!1-
oationa her6tofore adopted by thia Council, whiCh said plana

The above and foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and passed at an adjourned regular meeting ot the
