The foreeoing eohedule ot per diem wagea 1e baaed
upor. a working day of eight (S) hours, unlaas otherwise
apec1f1Gd. The hourly wage rate prescribed hereinabov~ ia tbe
per diem rate divided bJ the aforementioned. or 1nd.1oate~ number of houra constituting the working day.
Wages or all laborers shall be seventy-five (76¢}
cents per hour for ~tra1ght time work, and on Saturday morning,
e.xoftpt as otberwitse provided.. Laborers handling air or elec-
trio tools weighing fifty (50) pounds, or more, including
vibrators over two and one-halt (2t) inchea ahatt diameter,

shall be paid ninety (SO¢) cents per hour. Workera with air
or elootrie s~adere shall receive also ninety (90¢) cents per
hour. No laborers shall be paid !or at a le8s rate than seventy-
five (75¢) cents per hour.
The following days shall be known as Building Tradee
Hol1daysJ New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day,
lebor Day, .Adm.1rss1on Day, Armistice Day, Tb.ankag1v1ng Day. and
Christmas Day. Under no e1roumstanees sav~ in extreme caaea
&8 in ss.v:t.ng lives or property, shall members work on Labor
Day. Holidays falling on Sundays Will be observed on the follow-ing Monday •
The following erafta ahall be paid at the rate or double time !or overttmes
Electrical Workera, Lathers, Plumbers, Plasterers, Steamt1ttera,
Sprinkler Fitters, Engineers~ Pipe Welders, Truok Drivers.
The following crafts Shall be paid at the rate ot
time and one.half !or overtime• Painters Roofera, S1gnpa1nters.
CARPENTERS.s Overtime shall be paid a a fi'Jllowsa For the first
!our hours after the first eight hours, ttme and
one-half. All time thereafter shall be paid double time.
LABORE~c Overtime up to tour (4) hours overtime on regular
work days shall be time and one·halr. After four
(4) hours overtime, Saturday afternoon~ and the holidays named above ehall be ~ouble t1me.
Properly 1ndenture(1 App:rent1cea may be employed upon
thie work. Such apprentices e~~ll be indentured to the Contract-
or and shall be ste&.dily employed by him and shall be paid not
lesr. than the standard wage, pa.1t'l to apprentices under the
regulations or the trade at whieh he is employed. An apprentice
&hall be employed only at the work ot the trade to wh1oh he is
indentured. The ratio or apprentice• employed shall not exceed
one apprent1ee to oacn five (5) journeymen regularly employed
by the ContrMotcr. The initial wage to be paid an apprentice
ehall not be leas than twenty-five per cent {25~) of the
journeyman's wage being paid and shall be increaaett each ;six
months in an amount not lees than titteen per cent (15%)•
The definition o! the term •regularly indentured apprentice",
aa used 1n thb resolution, shall be deemed to be an apprentice
indentured by a group representing b~na tide aaaociationa or employers and employees.
