That the Board of Public Works of the City of Ealo Alto
be and it is h~reby authorized to advert18e for.bida for the
construction of certain additions and alterations to the Palo
Alto Hosp 1tal, said bide to be received, publicly opened and
examined by said board on the 3rd day of April, 19~9, at the
houf' of 4 P. N.. 1n the C1 ty Hall in said c1 ty and t ranam1 tted
to the City Council with the board's recommendation, aa1d wor~
to be done in accordance w! th the plane and specifications
heretofore adopted ·oy th.1s Council, which ea1d plana and
epeeif1eat1ons were prepared by Will o. Corlett, Architect and Engineer.
BE IT FURTHE:H RE~OLVED that the Clerk of said board be ana she ts hereby authorized to adve:rt1ae for 'bide for the
construction of said add~.t1ona e.nd alteratlons 1n accordance
with the above mentioned plane by one publication in the Palo
Alto Times, a newspe.per of general c1rcula tion published 1n the
City o! Palo Alto, County of Santa Clera, State of California,
and in the Daily Pacific Builder published in the City and
County of ::Jan F'rancieco, St<'i.te of California.
Th0 aoove and foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
1ntroducod and paesed at a special meeting of the Council
of the C1 ty of Palo Alto held on Il.onday, th~ t;th day of
March, 19~9, by the following vote:
