WF.EREAS th~ City Council of the City of Palo Alto did
on the 28th day of September* 1938, pass its certain resol~ltim
ordering work wherein 1 t ordered to be done and made the work and
t:::provement descr'lbed :ln ita Resolution of Intention No. 1222 au~?ted on the 12th day of September, 1938, and further dlreoted
that the Clerk po.!"t and pvblish notices inviting sealecl proposals
for the recepti.on of bid" for d.)ing the work so ordered upon a
date to be thereafter fixed by thias Council; and
WHEP.EAS sa~.d Council thereupon ccnt1nued the hearing
upon 8a1d mattor to this, the lOth day of October, 1038, and
hss now further .i:H~ard tl">.e BAJd matt.er and de,ms it advisable
to continue .the hearing to another dote.
NOW. THEREF'!P.E, IT I.S HEHEBY RESOLVED AND ORDERED by
the C1 ty Council of the City of Pe.lo Alto that upon the making of
the P.~.A. grant allotment, the Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to fix U1o ds.y for openin3 b1d8 and glve notice thereof
ln ~he manner And form provided by law.
