RESOLUTION ORDERING ASSBESKENTS LESS THAI t25.00 TO B!
COLLECTED ON TAX ROLL
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Palo Alto that
WHEREAS, certain work bas been dGne and improve-
ments· made in said city under Resolution ot Intention
No. 1179, pursuant to the provisions or Ol'dinanc:e llo. 72~
desiin&ted "Palo Alto Im~rovement Procedure Code,w and
WHEREAS, said resolution of intention provided
that individual lot bonds should be issued to represent
unpaid assessments as provided in said ordinance upon. tl!e
filing of the contractor's statement of payments received,
NOW, THEREF'ORr;, IT IS ORDERED that all of the
un.ps:td assessments of less than $:25.00 be collected on the
tax roll of the city upon wb!ch genaral taxes .are to be col~ed for the year 1938-1939 as authorized by the
provisions of said ordinance; and the City Auditor is
hereby ordered to extend upon said tax roll the respective
amounts of such \mpaid assessments, togdther with interest
thereon at the rate of one per cent (l~) per month trom
the date of the filing of the contractor's statement of
assessments paid, to-wit, September 12th, 1938, to
December 31st, 19;sa, oppQsite the respective properties
affected, and upon the first installment of said taxes.
