RESOLVED, by tho Council of the City of Palo Alto that the
public interest and neceea1ty require tbe acquisition of a r1&ht
ot war 1n lf1dc1let1eld Road 1n the Count, of Santa Clara bordering
the ezt~rio~ boundary line ot.aa1d c1tJ, tor the purpose of
lay1na, conatructing and maintaining etorm sewer pipea. manhole• and
catCh ba&in• therein •• a necessary and 1na1upenaible part of th~
gene?al municipal storm aewage coll•ct1on 8Jatem tor said o1ty now
being un~ertaken by aa1d o1ty as a municipal public improvement.
.RISOLVJD, FURTHER, that the Board ot Superviaora ot the Count7
of Santa Clara be and they are h«reby reepeottull7 reqveated to
adopt an ordinance granting to aaid CitJ ot Palo Alto for aa1d
purpose, the following right or way in the following 1treet aad
road 1n eaid County ot Santa Clara for the purpoae ot laying,
constructing and maintaining storm sewer pipea, manholes and
catch baaina therein, together with the right t~ excavate and lay, rupair and replace the same therein. to-witt
The southwesterly half of M1ddle:1eld Road, from
Ce11fomia. Avenue, including the intersection
thereof, southeasterly to the Palo Alto City Limits line.
