RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE DISPOSITION OF CERTAIN GAS TAX
FUNDS ALLOTTED FOR USE IN P.ALO ALTO FOR THE BIENNIUM 1938-
1939.
The Council or the City of Palo Alto DO RESOLVE aa !ollowaa
That the gas tax funds now available for uae by the
City ot Palo Alto tor the improvement of major streets in aaid
city and for the 1mrlrovement of highways 1n and about aaid
city and auen ot said gaa tax tunda available in 1939 as aro
neoeaaary be allocated to the grade separation project contem-
plated and propo~ed for erection and construction at University
Avenue 1n the City or Palo Alto and Bl Caa1no Realt
That tb.e State Highway Commission and/o,r othffr a tate
bodies having jurisdiction be and they are hereby authorized
to aet aside and allocate to 8&1d project the above mentioned
tunda; provided, however, that the Council or the City of
Palo· Alto 1a to be consulted and s.dviaed in connection with the
amount of th_e expenditures prior to e.otu .. l o~1tmenta.
The above and foregoing roeolut1on was duly and regu-
larly introduced and passed at a regular ~eting of the Council
of the City of Palo Alto held on Monday, the .. 12th day of September, 1938, by the follcw1ng votes
