CITY OF PALO liLTO TO .t..ID BY WAY OF GRANT IN I-INANCHlG THE CONSTRUCTION OF STREET PAVING, BRIDGE AND STORM SEWERS.
Tte Council of the City of PhlO Alto DO RESOLVE as folloYis:
Section 1. That the offer of the United States of
lmer!CQ. to tne (.;lty of Palo Alto to c..id by way of grant
in 1'1nClncing the construction O·f Street Paving, Bridge and
Storm Sewers, a copy of which offer reads as .followss

Section 3. That the Mbyor be C~.nd he is hereby
authorized lind d.irected forthwith to send to the Federu.l
Emergen~y Administration of Public works three certified
copies of this Resolution <..n<i three certified copies
of u.e proceedings of this meEJtin.g in connection with
the adoption of this Resolution, ~;md such turther documen~s or proofs in connection with the accept&nce
of said offer &s may be re~ue~ted ty the Federal Emergency
Administrb.tiorl of Public Works.
Section 4. It is hereby covenanted thE\t work on
tht; project described in the Offer .. 111 be commenced as
early &s possible but in no event later tr~n JanU&ry 11,
1B~7; thl1t the work ·,·.ill be pletnned so that it will reach
a substetnti&.l peak before April 11, 1937; b.nd. tl:ut.t the
project will be completed by Junuary 11, 19S8.
The above and foregoing resolution v.as duly und
regularly introduced &nd passed at & special meeting of
the Council of the City of Palo Alto held on the 2nd day
of November, 193€, by the following votez
