'l'he Board of Public Safety of the City of Palo Alto DO RESOLVE
i.a follows:
. 1. Double white lines sl).all 'be painted upon the cen~or ot the pavement in the Embarcadero Subwq beginning at
·a point whore the west~rly .end of tho pavement ot tho aubwa,-
meeta ·thG grade of the pavement of Embarcadero Road and extend-
ing to the easterly end of the pavement of the subway where the
lame meets _the ~ado of the paven:tent of .Embarcadero Road.
2. It shall be unlaw!'u.l for rmy person to drive or
operate a vehicle across oaid double wh1 te lines at any point
• e~cept where ordered to do so by a police officer.
3. The Chief of Police is hereby directed to oauae
double wh1 te lines to be painted upon the center of the pave-
ment in the ~barcadero Subway as provided in this resolution •
