A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF THE UNITED
STATES OF AMERICA TO AID BY WAY OF GRANT IN
FINANCING THE MOVING AND RECONSTRUCTION OF THE
GAS DISTRIBUTING CENTER OF THE CITY OF PALO ALTO.
Th~ council of the City of Palo Alto DO RESOLVE as .follows&
&ection 1. That the offer of the United
Sthtes of America to the City of Palo Alto to aid
by way of grant in financing the moving and
reconstruction ol' thE;: gLts distrtbuting ce11ter of
the City of Palo Alto, a copy o1.' which offer is
attached heret'J and marked Ex.hibit ".A", be and the
same is hereby in all respects ~Lccepted.
Section!· That E. L. Baach, the City
Clerk, be and he is hereby authorized and directed
forthwith to send to the Federa.J. Emergency
Administration of Public Works three certified
copies of this Resolution and tlnree certified
COi>iEis of the proceedings of this special meeting
in connection with the adoption of this Resolution.
