1'HE SOUTHERN PACIF'IC RAILROAD COMPANY, TH~ SOUTHERll
PACIFIC COKPANY, THE STATE O!t' CALH'ORNIA, AND THE CITY
OF' PALO ALTO, REl-ATIVE TO 'l'llE EMBARCADERO SUBWAY,
KNOWN AND DESIGNATED AS IV-SCI-FEEDER RO~), IN THE
CITY OF PALO ALTO.
The council of the City of Palo Alto DO
RESOLVE as follows:
That the Mayor and City Clerk of the City
oi' Pl<-lo J.l to be and they are hereby autholrized to
execute that certain agreement by and bet1rfeen the
southern Pacific Railroad Company, a corp!)ration,
first party; Southern Pacific Company, a (~orporation,
second p<.~.rty, (.s&id first and second part:les herein
collectively called nra11road")J State of Cal1forn1&.,
acting by and thl'ough its De~artment <'f P11blic Works,
third party, (herein called state''); and the City
of Pt..lo .fil to, u municipal corporation of 1~h.e State of
California, fourth party, herein called "<:i ty", which
agreement is dated December 171 1935 and relates to
the construction and maintenance of the En.barcudero
Subw<...y, knO\•:n. und desigr..ated as IV-SCI-Feudar Road,
in the City of Palo Alto.
Tha above and foregoing resolutj.on was
duly and regularly introduced and passed at a special
meeting of the CoWlcil of tht: Cit:r· of p,,lc1 Alto. held
on Monday, the 27th day of January, 1936, by the
following vote:
