The ~ouncil of the City of Palo Alto DO rlESOLVE
as follo•;:;a
That the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of
Palo Alto are hereby authorized and empowered to negotiate
a loan or loans as required from time to time for the
City of Palo Alto, not to exceed the sum of $30,000.00
for the purpose of carrying on the business of said City
until such time as taxes are collected for said purpose;
and said officials are hereby authorized to execute a
~romissory note or notes in the name of the City of Palo
Alto, by themselves as said off1cial31 and to deliver
the same as evidenc~ of the ~romise to pay said loan.
The above and foregoing resolution was duly
passed by the Council of the City of Palo Alto on the
9th day of July, 19341 by the following vote:
