The Council of the City or Palo Alto DO ~SOLVE as rollowsa
Tnat the Mayor be designated as tbe sole
autborit7 empowered to negotiate with any County,
State or Federal asency oD matters having to do with the Federal Emergency Relief Program or with the
County Relief Adminiatratioa.
And, that t~e Mayor 'be authorized to employ
a rull-ti•e s"cial representative to con~uct these
negotiations under his dir•ctioa, and that the sum of
tl60.00 per month be made available tor compensation ot such special repr•sentative.
The above and foregoing resolution was duly
passed by the Council ot the City or Palo Alto at a
regular meeting held on the ~2th day of March, 19341 by the tollowin& votes
