REGULATIUG TRAFFIC AT EMBARCADERO ROAD AND EL CAMINO REAL
Tho Board of Public Safety or the City of Palo
Alto DO RESOI.VE:
That at the intersection of Dn.barca.dero Road
and El Camino Real the roadway between the curb surrounding
the tree, and the southerly curb J.ine of Embo.rendero Road,
is declared to l>e a one-vray traffic lane; and it shall be
\.tnlawful to operate or drive any vehicle 1n ea.,,d roadway
save in a general north~nsterly direction, turning in
from north bound traffic lanes of El Camino Real.
Southbound vehicles from El Camino Real, and
from Embarcadero Road, shall be driven so as to make
lef't or right hand. turns into or !'rom the street area
or Embarcadero Road northerly of the north curb
surrounding the tree located at auch 1ntersectlon, on
the proper side ot the road.
The Chier of Police is directed to cause traffic
lanes to be painted upon EmbarcAdero Roa.d to indicate the
proper turns, and to paint or ex•ect other sigJlS o.n.d
legends necessary to carry this reaolut1on 1nto effect.
The above and foregoing resolution was duly
and regularl-y passed at a r·egulo.r meeting of the Board
of Public Safety held on the 6th day of' April, 1931,
by the following vote:
AYES: Roberts and Slater.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Mrs. Thomas •

RESOLti'TlON APPROVING RESOLUTIOll OF BOARD OF SAFETY
The Council of' the City of' Palo Alto DO RESOLVE:
That the above resolution or the Board or Public
Safety be and it is hereby approved, and that the fo.ilu.re
to drive or operate any vehicle in accord with its
provisions shall be a misdemeanor, pun1Dhable as provided
1n Sec. 388 of Cod.1f1fld Ordinance No .. 3.
The Cli!rk is directed to post a copy or this resolt:.tion
upon the bulletin board at the City Hall upon paasaga.
