The Council of the City of PAlo .Alto DO P~SO.&VE
as t'ollow;:
WHEREAS, this Coun~tl finds that an o.pplicacio:n
hds been filed With the Railroad Co~~~ssion of t~e
State of Cal1fol~ia for the installation of gates
at the crossing of l!:lnbarcad.ero Road over the right
of way and traoke ot the Southern Pac1~1c Company,
and that a hoaring on said application has been
delayed for the x•eaaon of a suggested subway a.t this
point;
NOW, THEREFORE, thir. Council f1ndn tha~ gates
ohould be instnlled at this crossing;
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED, t.ha t the City Att\)r:ney
of the City of Palo Alto taJ.:e the necess;ll.ry .steps
to ha.ve the P.ail.road Cornmissicm of the s~tate of
California set a time and place f'or he~tng upon
said app11oat1on for gntas £tt the crossing of the
Enba:rcadero P-ond over and ncroas the r1gh.t of way ot the Southern Pacific Company. .
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that Application

ad.d1t1on to the gates petttioned for in said
application which is now on file b43fcre "the
