Tho Council of th~ City of Palo Alt.0 do reaolve as
follows:
That, 'fhereaa, on the 4th day ot Jebruary,
1920, the City of Palo Alto receiTed a deed from Mary
s. Curtis conveying to the City of Palo Alto lota ll
and 12, Block 89.o! aaid City; and
Whereas, eaid oonTeyance wae made and ac-
oepted for the purpose or an indefini t.a truet created
for charitable purpasee: 1.
NO'N, THEREFORE. the Council does hereby de~
olare that lote 11 and 12, Block 89 or the City of '
Palo Al to are e.ubj ect t11> a charitable truet to cttin-
tinue until &uch time aa the Council finds and de-
clares from the facts that there ia no longer any
necessity for euch charitable truat to exiat, and
thereupon a reeolution shall be passed declaring
aaid truat as ended, and the property thus conveyed
shall then become the property ot the City of Palo
Alto released from the obligations of the trust here-
by declared: provided. however, that it ie expressly
understood and declared that said propertyt ao long
as the title remains in the City, ahall be uaad tor
eiome public purpose, ae a small recreation or orna-'>-1wr17'A,J
park, or similar use, so that the uae thereof shall
not be detrimental in any way to neighboring re-
• idential property.
